I grew a beard the last few weeks. It started during Thanksgiving week. I had the week off from work, and was so lazy the first few days I decided not to shave.

Shaving sucks, by the way. I somewhat envy those that only have to shave a few times a week (I say somewhat because those men are probably somewhat lacking in testosterone). I can never get a good shave either. Even if I use one of those razors with 18 blades that can cut a brick in half, I always end up looking scruffy by the end of the day.

So anyway, after not shaving for a few days, I thought “why not go with this?” If I’m going to look scruffy, why not just grow a beard? Turn a negative into a positive.

I like it. It itches sometimes but most times I don’t really notice it. I had to do a little maintenance, but I don’t have to shave in the morning so that rules.
