Would would you do, given a chance to meet God?

Well, the Sox won the World Series. It just wasn't the Sox I was hoping for.

Still, I'm happy for White Sox fans. They've always been the ignored little brother to the Cubs and Red Sox in the "haven't won a World Series in forever" family. But it's always nice to see people so genuinely happy. And the Chi Sox seem like an OK group of guys (except maybe the legitimately insane Carl Everret, but hell, I'll let bygones be bygones).

Even though it was a sweep, these were four very well played games (average margin of victory: 1.25 runs). Too bad no one watched; this may go down as the least watched World Series of all time. I guess Chicago vs. Houston just wasn't a marquee matchup like, say, Yankees vs. Cardinals or something like that.

And man, how much does it suck to be a Cubs Fan right now?

As "A" Cubs Fan, I must say it seriously sucks being in an office employed by mostly southsiders. Especially when already irritable due to illness and psuedo-fasting for medical testing.
